A heat exchanger is a device for transferring thermal energy from one fluid to another without mixing them; the heat flow passes through the exchange surface which separates them. Aluminum is increasingly used in the manufacture of heat exchangers, especially with plate and bar technology that offers total modularity for a heat exchanger manufacturer. Its characteristics allow both a good heat exchange while allowing to reach high operating pressures. Manufacture of Brazed Vacuum Cold Plates

The fields of application of electronics continue to increase while moving towards more miniaturisation, these are applications for heat transfer by cold plates. Many of these cold plates must be made to measure and use fluids as a heat transfer vector, which requires a perfect seal that can only be obtained by a vacuum brazing type assembly. This type of assembly without soldering flow allows to obtain clean parts and compatible with environments such as medical, armament, railway or aeronautical.

Large Size Cooling System

Air cooler for traction or power transformers, air heaters, heat exchangers, etc. All these cooling systems use aluminium plate and bar core. Liquid cooling systems, especially those using oil, require a complete tightness of the circuits, which can only be achieved with advanced assembly technology such as vacuum brazing. Hebco is the only French manufacturer of aluminum bundles for cooling system using this technology.

For more than 15 years we have been manufacturing cores which are then assembled to form large complete radiators which then integrate into liquid cooling systems for military applications, railway or nuclear.

Assembly and Supply of Industrial Radiators

Industrial applications requiring compressors and thermal motors all use industrial radiators to ensure proper operation, whether for cooling or temperature regulation. Once the operating parameters are defined, the various components of the cooling system, of which the radiator is a key component, must be dimensioned and assembled.

  • uniform heating and strict control of brazing temperature,
  • complete absence of solder residue (no flow trace),
  • repeatability of the process.
